Just 20 minutes away, Big Chute Marine Railway is the only marine railway of it’s kind in North America and makes an excellent spot for a history lesson and a picnic. Adding to the historical theme, Discovery Harbour has historic ships and other programs and activities geared towards families. Another nearby attraction, Six Mile Lake Provincial Park offers a myriad of outdoor recreational activities ranging from hiking to canoeing.
